I was taking a Super 8 class while simultaneously taking an Alfred Hitchcock class. I was, and still am very interested in the projected image, as well as the projection of the individual onto the self. I asked the individuals to gather any materials they could in order to create four different emotions: happiness, anger, sadness, and fear. After the fact, I was told it reminded some of the Kuleshov effect, which Alfred Hitchcock used.
This is a much shortened version I submitted to the MIA’s “Foot in the Door 4” exhibition.
